Where PCB reverse engineering adds real value to your business.
Revive discontinued products by recreating schematics and PCBs when original documentation is lost or manufacturers no longer exist. We handle component sourcing and full design documentation recreation.
Analyze competitor products to understand their design approach, component selection, and manufacturing techniques — including cost structure evaluation and performance benchmarking.
Enhance existing designs by analyzing current PCBs and implementing improvements in performance, cost, or reliability — without starting from scratch.
Identify design flaws and manufacturing defects through detailed analysis of failed PCBs to prevent future issues and improve product quality.
You'll receive complete Gerber files, BOM (Bill of Materials) with part numbers and alternatives, schematic files (PDF and editable format), assembly drawings, and a full project report documenting the reverse engineering process.
We recommend sending 2–3 samples for best results. This allows us to cross-reference layers, verify component values, and ensure maximum accuracy. For simple single or double-layer boards, one sample may be sufficient.
Yes. We use X-ray imaging, cross-sectioning, and layer-by-layer deprocessing to analyze BGAs, QFNs, buried vias, and components on inner layers. Our experience covers boards up to 32 layers including HDI and flex-rigid designs.
PCB cloning for legacy product support, discontinued parts replacement, and internal use is generally legal. However, cloning patented designs for commercial resale may infringe intellectual property rights. We require clients to confirm they have the legal right to reverse engineer the product, and we sign NDAs to protect both parties.
Standard turnaround is 5–10 working days depending on complexity. Simple 2-layer boards can be completed in 3–5 days, while complex multi-layer boards with BGA components may take 10–15 days. Urgent requests are also available — contact us for expedited service.
Yes. Send us photos or ship your PCB sample to us, and we'll provide a free feasibility analysis including complexity assessment, estimated turnaround time, and a detailed quotation — all within 4 hours of receiving your request.
