Al igual que el aire comprimido dentro de un globo tiene presi\u00f3n, pero necesita ser liberado para realizar trabajo, el voltaje tambi\u00e9n requiere un circuito cerrado para que la corriente fluya y realice trabajo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La diferencia de potencial entre el terminal positivo (alto potencial) y el terminal negativo (bajo potencial) de una fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n impulsa la corriente desde el positivo hacia el negativo.
